Customized Care & Effective Results
The schedule for clients enrolled in outpatient substance dependency treatment includes a one-hour evaluation with a licensed psychiatrist. Follow-up visits are scheduled as needed and usually last 30 minutes. Outpatient clients also see their individual therapists once per week for one hour. An additional one-hour weekly family therapy session is available for clients who choose to participate. Consent for drug and alcohol screening is required of all clients enrolled in NorthStar’s outpatient addiction treatment program.
As an extra service to outpatient program clients, NorthStar Transitions offers the services of a Case Manager to help them find work, enroll in college, meet probation requirements and successfully return to a normal, drug- and alcohol-free life in greater Denver.
